Orange County Board of Elections provides voting sites and hours, voter ID info, and updates about voting here in Orange County.

Orange County Democratic Party tells you how to get involved and volunteer.

Common Cause is a non-partisan grassroots organization that works to create "open, honest, and accountable government."

Politics NC provides "an insider’s look at one of the most politically competitive states in the nation" by Thomas Mills, a political consultant. 

Democracy NC is a "nonpartisan organization that uses research, organizing, and advocacy to strengthen democratic structures, build power among disenfranchised communities, and inspire confidence in a transformed political process that works for all."

Repair Café   A free service, meeting monthly about the Triangle. November 15, 2025 at the Whitted Building. February 28, 2025 at Schley Grange Hall. They're always looking for folks to help out with repairs and organization.

CERT - Community Emergency Response Team - Learn about how to respond to an emergency situation and help your neighborhood get prepared. Free classes presented by Orange County twice a year, plus on demand. 

Orange County Government Academy Learn about how your county government works. Go behind the scenes at animal control, 911, solid waste, the art's council and more. Free class presented twice a year.

Center on Aging has free and low-cost programs on arts, exercise, music, computers and much more. Check out their catalog of events.
